RoentDek was founded in 1991 by a
team of young scientist from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University in Frankfurt
Germany.
Our activities are focused on the development of time and position
sensitive detectors for the imaging of particles emitted in advanced research
and technology applications. We have developed unsurpassed expertise in this
area which has allowed our products to make decisive impact on the leading edge
of research.
Several devices have reached the stage of production and are in use at
institutions all over the world. Our efficient service, state-of-the-art
technology at affordable prices guarantees satisfied customers.
From our initial product, a time and position sensitive detector for
particles and X-rays, we developed an expanded product range which matches the
needs of our customers. This includes:
- Time and position sensitive
microchannel plate detectors for advanced research problems.
- Readout electronics for the
highest count rates.
- Data acquisition and
analysis software.
- Multi-fragment imaging
systems (COLTRIMS).
Many of our systems are in use by scientists at major research institutions,
these include:
- Gesellschaft für
Schwerionenforschung (GSI), Darmstadt, Germany
- Max Planck Institut (MPI), Halle, Germany
- Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI), Villigen, Switzerland
- Grand Accélérateur National D’Ions Lourds (GANIL), Caen, France
- Laboratoire des Collisions Atomiques et Moléculaires (LCAM), Orsay,
France
- The Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN), Wako, Saitama,
Japan
- Hitachi, Tokyo, Japan
- Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas, USA
- Argonne National Laboratory (ANL), Argonne, Ilinois, USA
- Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), Berkeley, California, USA
- Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), Livermore, California,
USA
- and many other laboratories, companies and Universities world wide.
We will be pleased to offer a solution for your specific task.
